Ultimately, she ended up involved with Eastern Michigan University’s Cellar Roots: first as assistant editor, and later as Editor-in-Chief. Melissa is an MFA candidate at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield, MI. She has been involved with books for over 10 years, first as a poet and author, then as an editor and publication manager, and finally as a graphic designer and book artist.
